Description

Water, draining from the Cedar Breaks Amphitheater down into Cedar Canyon just outside Cedar City, Utah, carries loosely assorted Cenozoic rocks of varying colors. Above this wash lies Mesozoic rocks, millions of years older than the aforementioned ones. A geologic gem hidden from society, and one of my favorite places to escape the summer heat.
